About the role

You will be part of the Supply Chain team and report directly to Head of Supply Chain & Customer service Nordics. The position will be responsible for Consumer Health product supply for the Nordic countries. Supply Chain Manager ensure that optimum saleable products quantity are forecasted, acquired, warehoused and delivered to the right point of sale locations on the required time and at an all-inclusive economic compliant basis, whilst maintaining a high customer service level.

Job duties

  • Actively lead & drive the monthly Sales & Operational Planning process to ensure a solid and accurate forecast for the assigned region & portfolio

  • Effectively and swiftly communicate with the business group any delays, deviations, stock performance issues and proactively seek ‘win-win’ and efficient ways with all concerned parties to resolve and minimize the business risk and potential loss of sales

  • Through strong collaboration with Supply Centers and close monitoring of delivery schedules in SAP/APO, secure that deliveries are planned/executed according to forecasts, product lifecycles launches, etc. whilst considering working capital management targets

  • Manage and control physical inventories, inventory discrepancies, product write offs, physical process of products recalled, returns, destruction of unsaleable inventory etc., and the accurate and complete associated administration according to their internal policy and procedures

  • Through monthly reconciliation procedures, ensure that all transactions, stock & goods movements, is correctly reflected and mirrored in their systems and their own SAP system. Investigate discrepancies, and take corrective actions where needed

  • Analyze data to determine/use appropriate forecast and inventory management methods in APO

  • Ensure compliance with legislation and guidelines applicable to imports, warehousing, distribution and destruction of products

We are looking for

  • At least 5 years’ relevant experience and track record as a logistics controller our demand planner in a medium to large organization, preferably Pharmaceuticals or FMCG business environment

  • Knowledge of Logistics, Supply Chain Management and good distribution practices

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills

  • Reliable team player with a strong sense of urgency and desire to deliver outstanding and creative results

  • Strong MS product skills – specifically Excel

  • Strong SAP/APO skills

  • Ability to develop, write and implement policies and procedures

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
