Welcome to GN Hearing
At GN Hearing, you will join our Commercial Insights & Pricing team. This is a newly established business unit in our finance organization. The business unit is highly prioritized and placed directly under our CFO.
We have a good mix of experience in the team and maintain a great relationship with the markets across the world (Europe, Asia, US, and Latin America). This position will ideally work out of our HQ in Ballerup.
Securing that our continuous growth goes hand in hand with profitability
As our new Pricing Manager your overall task is to drive the global implementation of our pricing excellence program.
You will apply multiple perspectives to pricing. From a data-oriented perspective, you will track pricing performances across the markets and from a business development perspective you will support the global roll-out of our pricing excellence program.
Specific tasks include:
Tracking of pricing performance in markets including diagnostics and root cause analysis
Drive pricing excellence program in our markets and follow up on execution
Manage global product launches, i.e., decide strategy and price positioning
Facilitate pricing research and studies
Modelling of new pricing concepts and tools to support sales in everyday pricing, and ultimately to improve profitability
Development of system tools to enable pricing agenda
You will have high exposure to our markets as you will play a key role in securing local implementation. Therefore, you find it natural to communicate and build relationship with multiple stakeholders.
A curious data cruncher with a commercial flair
With your analytical and commercial mindset, you enjoy solving complex problems that combine qualitative and quantitative data and insights. You quickly identify business opportunities and are great at translating your analyses into tangible actions and decisions and present them in a convincing way for your stakeholders.
In your work you can operate on a strategical, tactical and, sometimes, operational level. You can approach a task from a holistic perspective, i.e., define the playing field, but are also able to do the more hands-on execution, i.e., develop pricing tools for markets to use.
You see pricing as part of business development, and you use your insights to challenge business models and are motivated by tangible results that have direct bottom line impacts.
As you deal with a wide range of stakeholders and perspectives, you will need to be an amazing facilitator when meeting and needing to decide on priorities and actions. Here, your great people skills and professional acumen will come in handy as you, sometimes, need to be able to stand your ground to enable our stakeholders to leverage untapped pricing opportunities.
Furthermore, we imagine that you:
have educational background in economics or finance, e.g., Cand. Merc.
have more than 5 years of work experience
experience with pricing is required either in a pricing function or as part of your previous work, e.g., in finance, commercial excellence
have analytical experience and flair for linking findings to commercial opportunities
strong excel skills, ideally, also Power BI skills
experience in managing projects across markets
have great communication skills and are fluent in English
