Your responsibilities - shape you own role
GN has just started implementing the advanced planning tool Rapid Response by Kinaxis for all business units. Main objective of implementing the application is to support the business high growth and efficiency by creating a digital twin of our supply chain to improve the planning functionalities and improve transparency.
Your role as our new Planning Solution Architect is to ensure that the application is implemented successfully and delivers business value from the start. A key task is to define solutions where Rapid Response and our ERP solutions are working seamless together.
Moreover, you will have to provide guidance to business on how the solution should be configured to fulfill business requirement and deliver value. This will require you to:
- Design, configure, develop, and deploy Rapid Response solutions for GN Audio and GN Hearing
- Ensure the solutions are continuously improved and optimized
- Deliver advice to users and colleagues on how to benefit from using Rapid Response functionality
- Work close together with your team colleagues
You will be challenged with the complexity of a truly global organization and in this context, you will need to navigate across cultures, functions, and organizational levels.
You will be part of a small team headed by Christian Vindegaard Grønberg head of Operation Solutions. Our team are working from HQ, Ballerup in Denmark, however, it will be possible to work from a local office (US) or remotely from home (DE,US,CA).
Sound good so far? Here’s what you’ll need to succeed and create results:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in working with supply chain planning solutions (Slimstock, AGR, Rapid Response, Anaplan, SAP IBP or similar tools)
- Have expert knowledge within supply chain planning functionality
- Have a good business understanding and fast learner
- Inspire business users and colleagues
- Be able to document requirements, making specifications and configure solutions
- Conceptual thinking but on the same time goal and solution oriented
- Communicate easily in English

The team you will join
Operation Solutions is a new team within Business Core. Business Core is delivering the ERP, where Operation Solutions are focusing on areas within operation and supply chain where more advanced solutions are required.
Currently, we are a sparring partner for the business when it comes to specialized supply chain solutions outside our ERP system. In our portfolio we have an advanced planning tool (Rapid Response), a product configurator (ConfigIT), PLM system (Oracle Agile) and then we in the process of implementing a new advanced sourcing tool (Ivalua).
In the team we spare, support each other, and have fun even though we focused on supporting different parts of the business.
