We are looking for a strategic oriented, motivated and result oriented person for the Global Product Manager (Marketing) position at the marketing department within the Epiroc Drilling Tools division. Your main responsibility will be to further develop and implement our Tophammer strategy including market segmentation, Fleet management, both short and long term, prioritizing development together with managing the sales strategy. This position will work closely to our Regional business managers to secure and maintain our strong focus on Tophammer products. The division has an ambitious target in place for growing the Tophammer product line moving forward, and one of the most important tasks will be to find new opportunities for increased sales and market share. You will work with our sales companies around the world to establish, plan and carry out marketing activities. An important part of your work is to establish sales / marketing strategies that will serve as a base for our future business development. Today, there will be two people reporting to this position with the aim to increase the team even further in connection with business development and growth. As Global Product Manager you will report to the Product Line Manager for Tophammer equipment.
Identify, develop and implement the business strategy at the Product Company to reach & exceed targets and goals. Provide continuous marketing support to Customer Centers & Distributors / Dealers. Make sure that the divisional targets in terms of sales, consolidated profitability, positioning, market shares and customer’s definition of value are continuously met. Analyze business developments, monitor market trends and competitor activities. Support Epiroc Customer Centers in major tenders, product application and in the provision of training in all aspects of the sales / marketing approach. Acts as Product "Champion" liaising with Epiroc Sales Companies and the Secoroc Product Companies which includes rock drilling tools, pneumatic rock drills and the implementation of our second brand approach.
We are looking for a person with the following profile; Experience from mining and construction business. Background & experience in international rock drilling business. Good knowledge of the English language (verbally and in writing), knowledge of other languages is a plus. Power of initiative and a strong driving force.
Strong communication and skills. Customer oriented attitude and long term sustainable oriented. Energetic and result oriented and should act strategically. Willingness to travel on a frequent basis.
