Financial Analyst – Corporate Finance & Analysis (Solna)

Corporate Finance & Analysis is part of Vattenfall’s staff functions (CFO functions) and is responsible for shaping a wide range of decision support material for top management of the Vattenfall Group.
You will join an energetic team, contributing to a wide range of financial analyses from day one. As a Financial Analyst, you will support project teams with financial modelling and analysis (including DCF-valuation, project financing structures, etc) working closely with other staff functions (including M&A, Strategy, Risk) and Business Areas.

Specifically you will be working with areas such as;
– Developing financial models for equity (DCF-valuation, peers analysis and LBO modelling) and project finance (build dynamic financial models to provide analysis of key output and ratios)
– Analysis of Group key metrics and impact on key ratios and rating
– Assist in driving projects forward through actively participating in dedicated project teams on a wide arrange of Corporate Finance topics
You will participate in shaping the smart energy society of tomorrow, working in a professionally varied environment with a wide range of contact points analyzing the financial aspects of some of the world’s large scale off-shore and onshore wind transactions to supporting our other business areas such as Heat, Electricity distribution, Power Generation and Customers & Solutions. Our airy open-plan office is located in a new and modern building in Solna, across the street from Mall of Scandinavia.
Qualifications and personal characteristics for a Financial Analyst at Corporate Finance & Analysis
We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic team-player with excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills. To be successful in the role, previous experience with financial modeling (Valuation/M&A and/or project financing) is a prerequisite. We believe you have a relevant university background and/or with more than 5 years of experience from big-four, corporate advisory or investment banking.
