Are you an experienced Category Buyer, keen to increase scope, fun, responsibility and meanwhile contribute to becoming fossil free in one generation?
You will join our centralized and international purchasing team operating on group level. Your focus will be on strategic purchasing of IT services across our main locations in Sweden, The Netherlands, UK, Denmark, Germany and Poland. Two examples of international projects you will be working on are: 1) the replacement of our ERP landscape and 2) moving our IT client services from a single source supplier to multi source scenario’s. In such projects you will team up with the IT department where you will act as a partner in their business.
You will be joining a recently created team of purchasing experts, aiming for strong business alignment and rapidly growing to achieve our sustainable goals. Your annual spend will be approximately 50 million euro. Your main focus is to manage all aspects related to the sourcing of IT Services & equipment across all our locations in Europe.
To achieve this you will:
Act as a purchasing Business Partner towards the IT organization;
Lead and participate in IT (sourcing) projects
Develop annual sourcing plans based on project plans and budgets
Define IT Category strategies with a short, medium and long-term goals;
Develop, implement and execute sourcing strategies; including annual category plans and vendor management plans;
Continuously engage suppliers to drive performance management, manage & mitigate risks, resolve quality issues and generate market intelligence;
Ensure that services and/or products are sourced in accordance with the relevant compliance & approval processes;
Ensure new requirements on Security, Sustainability, Health & Safety are anticipated and included in Supplier Onboarding and Management;

A relevant bachelor or master’s degree
About ten years of relevant experience in a similar position
Experience working internationally as a Buyer
Fluency in English
Location: for this position you can choose to be based in any of the countries we operate in: Sweden (Solna); The Netherlands (Amsterdam); Germany (Hamburg, Berlin), the UK (London). You will be expected to travel approximately one week per month between these locations.
