Länsförsäkringar Sak is currently recruiting junior and senior actuaries to the team that is responsible for the actuarial tasks for our very wide pallet of Non-Life insurances that vary from pet insurance to re-insurance.
About the job:
The Actuary department takes part in several of Länsförsäkringar’s processes such as reserving, business planning, enterprise risk modelling, and financial reporting. With our special expertise we contribute to reserve analyses, prognoses, profitability monitoring, pricing and financial reporting. We strive to improve our internal processes and tools to insure the high quality of our deliverables. The Actuarial department contributes to several crucial development projects within the company.As an Actuary in Länsförsäkringar you will have the opportunity to work with reserving, financial reporting, and supporting the business units with for example pricing, profitability monitoring, product development and development of IT-systems. On top of that you will be working with improving our internal processes and lifting the quality of our deliverables.
Who are you?
We expect that you have actuarial working experience within Non-Life insurances. You have a degree in actuarial science or a related mathematical or statistical degree. Moreover you have some experience in programming. You have a big interest in communicating and explaining the results of our deliverables. Your personality is crucial for us. We expect you to be a person with high integrity and conscientiousness. You are a curious, motivated, independent, and pragmatic person. Your communication skills are a key for your success in this position. You should be interested in challenging business units and acting as a bridge between actuarial knowledge and the day to day business challenges. Developing methods from the realities and prerequisites of the business is important. You should enjoy cooperating with different stakeholders within and outside of the actuarial department.
