Composite powder bringing new possibilities
Höganäs is the pioneer in soft magnetic composite powder-based technology with 3D magnetic properties. Our SMC powder technology has near infnite shaping possibilities, enabling unique 3D design concepts that deliver innovative, compact and power  ful solutions for a range of electromagnetic applications. We have new applications under intensive development right now, and need talented people for new positions.
 
The Höganäs EMA team
Based in Höganäs, our Electromagnetic Applications (EMA) team is responsible for developing new applications based on our SMC material technology especially innovative, high-effciency electrical machines and inductive components.Our technology is used in renewable energy, electric vehicles and across a raft of industrial and
domestic applications like pumps and fans. Our new electric bicycle motor is another application — this high-effciency, compact direct drive motor is ideally suited for electric scooters and light electric vehicles. Höganäs currently holds some 300 patents in this feld and has established partnerships with leading hi-tech companies worldwide.
